02 Brain
Most of what I build starts as a question I keep turning over.
An autonomous CubeSat concept with a ground station network to go with it. The goal is a satellite that detects, isolates and recovers from its own faults without waiting for help from the ground, while four tracking stations predict passes and hand the link over between each other. I'm developing it with mentorship from engineers at the European Space Agency.
The public repo is the mission control interface, which runs a simulated mission in your browser.

Drawing every hole by hand was never going to scale, so I built Theia: a service on Meta's open source SAM 2 model that splits a hole into fairway, rough, bunkers, water and green from one boundary you sketch. It runs on my own machine with no paid AI APIs.

03 Mouth
Bring any of these up and you'll be there a while.
Any kind. Mobile apps, backend services, internal tools that save someone an hour a week. I'm happiest when there's a real person using the thing at the other end.
It's what my degree is in: Linux, Docker, Cisco networking and the distributed systems that keep everything else running.
One of the areas I'd love to work in. HERMES got me hooked on software that has to make good decisions when nobody is watching.
The part of computing I keep coming back to, especially where networks meet physical devices.
Theia showed me how far open models on your own hardware can go. At SAP I work part-time on AI enablement.
04 Heart
Away from a keyboard, this is where my time goes.
Through the good seasons and the other ones.
The reason RoundReviewer exists. The handicap is still a work in progress.
An hour that has nothing to do with screens.
When final year leaves any time over.
05 Legs
The best way I know to reset.
It's how I switch off. A few hours on a hill with no signal does more for a stuck problem than another evening at my desk.
Eighteen holes is a long walk, whatever the scorecard says.
06 Travel
Travelling is one of my favourite ways to spend time and money. Every country I've been to is lit up below.
